Where to sell stained glass projects

Q: Where to sell stained glass projects? I am looking for good spots to sell my projects.
Our A: You have asked a question as to where to sell your designs?
You can be creative as you like.
If you have a stained glass store or a place that teaches stained glass near you- check with them- they may put your items in a window. You can set up a consignment deal or they may pay you upfront.
There are art fairs all over the country, not to mention festivals in your own backyard. You could get involved with those - we have at least 2+ a year where artists sell their items. This is great because you get right in front of your target market.
Check other outlet stores that sell unique art. Approach them and see if they are looking for art or an artist they could hire on a per job basis.
How about the Internet? This is one of our favorites. Set up a website, sell on auction sites or Amazon. Put ads on places such as craigslist.com or other type free listing sites.
Work with sites like ours about listing your art for sale for a commission - similar to an offline store approach.
The web also provides a great source for research on pricing, your market, and other factors.
Advertise in trade magazines or websites (i.e. stained glass forums) that target your niche for both custom work or pieces you already have and put a catalog together.
Develop a store out of your home? Have home parties or start giving away pieces to display with your information as a marketing piece?
Open your own store with your designs and sell pattern books, supplies, and other glass necessities.
These are just a few ideas - use your imagination to expand your business however you like.
We recommend checking out books such as Guerilla marketing or Google how to sell my craft which could bring up a lot of help just in the craft/hobby area.
