What is the best tin lead ratio to work with

by Jennifer
(Montreal)

Q: I am running out of lead and dread running out to buy more when i have two spools that are 40 tin 60 lead versus the 60/40 i usually use. is it ok to use the higher lead concentration?

A: Well the best is the 60/40 ratio. This makes the flow easier as you solder.

If you are looking for a place to purchase solder without having to go out, then we suggest checking into stained glass supplies at Delphi Glass
