I agree that your first piece is wonderful. I might not have known right away that its a tree-could be a bug on a leaf for instance. I'm not sure who, or if you, said that cartoon art is diff to sell and if your tree was being defined as cartoon art. I've seen some beautiful 'cartoon art' at the Chicago's Navy Pier.
Thank you for putting your piece on here for me to see. Your first piece blows away my first piece.
I think we all go 'out on a limb' when we upload any work we've done and we can expect a range of opinions to our work.
Anyway, I was especially struck by the way you used the pattern in the glass to mimic light hitting on each piece, especially the sky. I think the familiarity of that was a nice contrast to the rambling of the tree and leaf clusters.
And...were I a new parent, I might want something like that to hang in nursery window.
