Products to putty stained glass

by Mary
(South Dakota)

Q: What to use to putty stain glass projects? What kinds of window putty would work?

The best thing to use is window putty. Go to your local Home Depot or Lowes and ask for window putty.

Take in sections and lay in the "corner" around the window. You can smooth out with your finger.

Do not put in an over abundance of putty. Just enough to hold the window in place.

This has worked well for us. Remember if you have your own tips/comments, please do so below...
