Iwo Jima Memorial Stained Glass

by Michael Paxton
(Jacksonville, FL)

Iwo Jima Stained Glass

Iwo Jima Stained Glass

In the foreground, a black silhouette of the Iwo Jima Memorial, in the background red and white stripes of the American Flag, bordered in blue and clear glass bevels.

This is a high quality, self designed, and hand crafted work of art. The photo does not do it justice, it is both stunning and moving. I created this using the the copper foil method and it is framed in zinc came.

With this piece, I will also include a small sample of sand from the actual Iwo Jima site!
