Demand is obviously one of those fun economic terms we all have heard.

There is a market out there for this particular art along with others in the glass art realm.

There is also a lot of folks who are quickly learning how to turn their art into a money making business.

If you go to various stained glass forums or do some research on Google (use their keyword tool or just search), you will find both businesses advertising their products/services (which shows there is a market) and people searching for different aspects of stained glass.

There is more than one way to make money within this art form. The key is to treat it like a business, do your research upfront, get involved with your community of artists, talk to others, and set things up properly to have a better chance at success.

The answer could truly be a book, but this is the high level view - there is demand.

People love art and people love creating things. It provides beauty and a way to relieve stress from their daily lives. This is why we started making stained glass.

Can you create it? That is tougher to do. When I think of creating demand, I think of a business who has found a hole or need that needs to be met in the market.

Personally I don't think you need to create demand within the art, unless you are creating a new product or service that isn't being currently met.
