hanging large panels for stained glass

by Devon

Q: I was wondering what the best way to hang a 6 foot wide by 1 foot tall (transom) panel.

Framed in zinc but not wood. Wire? Chains? Nylon filament with wire hoops?

Thanks! Devon McVey

Our A: We would love to see this design. If you could upload it to our site- that would be wonderful.

As for hanging this design - I would recommend hanging with chains. I would do a loop out of the copper - solder onto the zinc- then I would attach a chain on each side to hang.

This design is very wide - so I would protect it with the secure loops and chain.
