Fruit Stand Stained Glass Piece

by Nancy Ritz

Stained Glass Fruit Stand

Stained Glass Fruit Stand

This is 50+ pieces. My 3rd project. It took me 50+ hours to make it.

I tried to include the ROYGBIV in the selection of colors for fruit and leaves.

The largest pieces are textured with raised, wavy lines throughout the glass and shimmer pink, violet, blue, depending on the light and angle at which you view it.

The grapes have a mirrored look and shimmer as well.

This is the first project that I used the black patina and I am very happy with it.

I used a 3/8" tip on the soldering iron which is the iron I'd purchased at my first stained glass workshop.

I didn't pay attention that I could have gotten a smaller tip esp for the grapes.

Seems exciting to start a project, then the tenacity kicks in to do it well, and its just as exciting to finish!

I am veeery happy that its finished and happy with the results of the hard work I put into it!
