Can you combine lead and copper foil together?

by Jonni

Q: Can you combine lead and copper foil together to make one panel?

A: Short answer, yes!

This is good if you do the copper foil in the design and framed with lead came. It will give a great finish.

I produced a large 18x20 piece and I did this exact thing. It looked beautiful!

If you are producing a piece that is larger you might want to use "L" channel on the back across the seam, soldered to the seams to add strength to your design.
