Above and Below Water Scene Stained Glass

by Derek Jessen
(Oakville , Ontario Canada)

This beautiful piece of glass has over 1100 pieces of glass in it, masterfully done, above the water is a gorgeous blue heron, trees, a crab, and a duck, with mountain plateaus in the background. Below the water are anemones, an octopus, starfish, a crab and under water weeds.

I took this from a National Geographic drawing several years ago.

I redrew the picture in my own interpretaion ( not exactly like the picture ).

This is a one of a kind masterpiece, set in an oak frame that I made myself, as I am a carpenter by trade.

As you can imagine, many hours were dedicated to this wonderful piece. Approx. 2x3 feet.
