8FT Stain Glass Dome

This 8Ft Stain Glass Dome has 16 sides with 3 panels on each side with one center panel for a total of 49 panels.

The dome is approximately 8ft wide and 23 inches tall. The frame is T-bar and Angle bar bolted together and the panels just sit right in the frame for easy removal for cleaning.

The center panel has a 4 ½” opening allowing a light lift to pass through allowing a chandelier to hang below the dome. I also have the lift that can go with the dome. The lift can lower any chandelier under 200lbs to the ground for cleaning or bulb replacement with one turn of a key switch. The light can be lowers over 40ft.

I am a licensed builder and master carpenter. I designed this dome for my home and commissioned one of the finest glass shops in Charlotte, NC to make the panels. The dome frame was purchased from a glass dome company out of California. The dome has been removed and packaged up for shipping to any buyer.

This dome could cost over $30,000 to custom make today. The light lift is about $1,000 retail. We are asking $13,000.

The dome can be installed by any professional carpenter or builder. The frame bolts together and the glass rests right in the frame. I have dimensions for install and I could assist in the design and placement in the home. I am willing to deliver the dome with in 800 miles of Charlotte NC.
